Six Age Divisions:

  Princess: 3-6
  Sweetheart 7-9
  Preteen: 10-12
  Jr. Teen: 13-15
  Teen: 16-18
  Coed: 19-22


Note: Contestant will compete
in the division that reflects
her age as of January 1st
of the competiton year



     

          




Title winners in each age divisions will receive the following:

  • Cash Award
  • Trophy
  • Crown
  • Banner
  • Crown Pin
  • Winner's Bouquet
  • 1 year subscription to Pageantry Magazine
  • Travel Expense Award Package valued @ $300 (from the National Office) once requirements are met to attend the National Pageant in Orlando, Florida in November 2005, plus A V.I.P. day for two @ Disney World.
  • Return to the following year's State Pageant as reigning queen to crown her successor

Runner-Ups in each age division will receive:

1st - 3rd Runner-ups in each division receive a trophy, flowers and invitation to the National Pageant in Orlando, Florida


The State Hostess:

Will receive crown, banner, cash award according to Ad Sales and invitation to the National Pageant in Orlando, Florida


Optional Competitions/Awards:

State Hostess Title: This optional award is earned by the contestant who sells the most advertising for the Pageant Program Book. The Winner will receive a designated cash award plus crown, banner and invitation to attend the National Pageant in Orlando, Florida.

Talent: 1st runner-up receives a plaque. Winner receives a trophy and invitation to compete at the National Pageant.

Speech: 1st runner-up receives a plaque. Winner receives a trophy and invitation to compete at the National Pageant.

Photogenic: 1st runner-up receives a plaque. Winner receives a trophy and invitation to compete at the National Pageant.

Miss Model: 1st runner-up receives a plaque. Winner receives a trophy and invitation to compete at the National Pageant

Spokes-model: (Sweetheart, Pre-Teen, Junior Teen, Teen only) 1st runner-up receives a plaque. Winner receives a trophy and invitation to compete at the National Pageant

Sportswear: 1st runner-up receives a plaque. Winner receives a plaque and invitation to compete at the National Pageant

Miss Personality: Winner receives a plaque

Spirit Award: Winner receives a plaque

Art Contest: (Princess, Sweetheart, and Pre-Teen only) Winner receives a plaque

Best Thank You Note: Winner receives a plaque

Academic Achievement: (Junior Teen, Teen & Coed only) Winner receives a plaque

Volunteer Service: (Junior Teen, Teen & Coed only) Winner receives a plaque

Most Ticket Sales: Winner receives a plaque

Most Recommendations: Each State Finalist who recommends other contestants will receive a $25 credit for each recommendation, providing the recommended contestant compete in this year's pageant. Credit will be given at Pageant Weekend check-in. Only one finalist can receive credit for a contestant. In order to receive the $25 credit, the Recommendation Form must be on file in the AACP Office by May 30th.
