A panel of judges will select the State Pageant Winner in each division. All scoring will take place on Pageant Weekend.

All contestants will be scored in the following categories:

1/3 Poise and Appearance in Formal Wear
1/3 Personal Introduction in Interview Outfit
1/3 Personality during a Personal Interview

Poise and Appearance in evening wear: This is a formal event for contestants and escorts. Your dad, granddad, uncle or brother may escort you if he follows the escort attire rules: suit with dress shirt and tie, or military uniform or a conventional tux. Absolutely no unstructured coats, baggy pants, bomber jackets or pegged legs!

Poise and Appearance in Interview Outfit: Each contestant will introduce herself to the panel of judges before the personal interview, giving her name, hometown and one thing she wants the judges to know about her.

Poise and Appearance in Personal Interview: Each contestant is interviewed by a panel of judges who will score poise, personality, appearance and self confidence.

Important Notice:

State Pageant Directors are exclusively responsible for all prizes, scholarships, cash awards and all other prizes advertised at the state pageant. All State Awards must be presented IN FULL before contestants leave the State Pageant Site.

The National Office of American Coed Pageants, Inc. is NOT responsible for any prizes and/or awards offered at any State Pageants. The National Office is exclusively responsible for only the awards offered at the National Pageant.

College and Modeling scholarships and/or college allowances that are part of the state pageant program are provided by the named college or modeling school and the amount of the scholarships are determined by the college or school. State Directors and/or the National Office shall have no liability in regard to such grants or scholarships either to amounts or performance.
